Rowan Jelly

Do it for the fun of it... not the taste. We can't say it's our favourite but if you stumble across some ripe rowan berries and are keen for a way to use them, here you go.

Rumour is, it's a hit with venison, if that's your game.

Nettle Risotto

(and crispy nettle garnish)

Warming, delicious, and easy to make - the most onerous thing about this recipe is having to ladle and stir the stock in slowly - a bit of a pain but just grasp the nettle - it's worth it.

Rich's Nettle "Barge"ees

The joke doesn't work in my (Alex's) accent but Rich assures me it's absolutely hilarious in his.

I can, however, confirm in no uncertain terms that this recipe is delicious, no matter what your dialectical proclivities.

Vegan Potato Gratin Dauphinoise

Alice's favourite potato dish ever... which is saying more than you know. Get ready for some golden crispy bubbling creamy cheesy goodness!

Potato and Wild Garlic Tortilla-ish

Not sure anyone who knows how to make a proper tortilla will ever speak to us again but this is a thoroughly delicious springtime recipe so they can go suck eggs (oh. wait. we've used them all)

Haw and Hedgerow Jelly

When September rolls back around, combine a country walk with a spot of hedgerow foraging. Then you can spend your evening sweating over a big vat/cauldron of sweet sugary goodness. But oh my, it is worth it.

Lamb-Style Seitan Roast with Fresh Rosemary & Mint Rub

Perfect for Easter, this dish is so delicious that it's worth resurrecting again and again, all year-round.
